D.C. Zinefest 2011

Here are some photos from today's D.C. Zinefest, the city's first zinefest in at least a decade. It had a good vibe, and a good number of local cartoonists were on hand. The D.C. Conspiracy had a workshops on comics and artist/friend Steve Loya held a workshop on his magnificent splotch monsters.

Attendees enjoying a free copy of Magic Bullet #2.

The fest had a good, steady crowd throughout the day.

Writer Joe Carabeo and artist Carolyn Belefski, who is drawing

of their new Mix Tape #2.

Adam's new mini-comics, Jailbreak and The Never-Ending War,
sold pretty well. We'll have more copies for the Small Press
Expo in September!
